National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM-JEE) is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) once a year usually in the month of April for admission to undergraduate courses in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management,25 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management,01 Public Sector Undertaking and 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.
NCHM-JEE Exam Pattern:-
The NCHM-JEE is a computer based exam of 3 hours.It consists of 200 objective type multiple choice questions from subjects such as Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude(30),Reasoning and Logical Deduction(30),General Knowledge & Current Affairs(30),English Language(60),Aptitude for Service Sector(50).Each correct answer carries 4 marks whereas 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in the NCHM-JEE Computer Based Test(CBT) and allotted seats based on their rank,category and choice of the institute.The NCHMCT announces the opening and closing rank of the participating institutes.Thereafter NCHMCT conducts counselling in three rounds.
