Central Armed Police Forces(CAPF) examination is organized by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) once a year generally in the month of August for appoinment to the post of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in the para military forces.
How to join CAPF:-
Young,enthusiastic male and female graduates who have a charm for the Police forces can appear in the CAPF exam. The CAPF examination consists of two papers:-
Paper1:- General Ability and Intelligence.
Paper2:-General Studies,Essay and Comprehension.
The candidates who qualify the written examination will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Tests(PET) and Medical Standards Tests. The candidates declared passed in the PET and Medical Tests are called for Interview/Personality Test to be held on the UPSC premises in New Delhi. The final merit list is drawn on the basis of marks obtained in written examination and Interview/Personality Test.
