INDIAN AIR-FORCE X&Y Group commonly known as AIR-MEN is a national level exam conducted by CASB(Central Airmen Selection Board) to test and enroll young Indian and Nepalese male undergraduates for the INDIAN AIRFORCE.The selected candidates are imparted a basic training of 24 weeks at Belgaum,Karnataka and thereafter trade training of 16 months at Bengaluru or Chennai to make trainees well disciplined,self reliant and physically tough.
How to join AIR-FORCE:-
To join AIR-FORCE as a AIR-MEN an aspirant needs to appear in the STAR(Scheduled Test for Airmen Recruitment)exam conducted twice a year first in the month of March and next in the month of September.STAR is conducted in two phases:-
Phase 1:- Online Test.
Phase 2:-Adaptability Test to be conducted at Airmen selection centres.
