AIHMCT-WAT(Written Admission Test) is a national level online exam conducted by Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHM&CT) once a year for admission to their BHM degree course.The admission to this institute is for children of "eligible serving Army personnel","eligible Ex-Army personnel" and "war widows of the Army only" who have passed or appearing in class 12 with English as a compulsory subject.
AIHMCT-WAT Exam Pattern:-
AIHMCT-WAT is an objective type Online Admission Test (OAT) containing multiple-choice questions(MCQ's).The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the total marks allotted is 100.The OAT comprise of five parts as follows:-
Section A- English Language.
Section B- General Knowledge.
Section C- Hospitality and Tourism.
Section D- Reasoning & Logical Deduction.
Section E- Scientific Aptitude& Numerical Ability.
The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling at AIHM&CT,Bangalore.The final selection is on the basis of performance in Online Admission Test(OAT) and Personal Interview.The top 60 students in the merit list are offered admission in AIHMCT.
